Welcome to Fraternity & Sorority Programs!

The Greek community at the University of Arizona consists of a group of diversified men and women belonging to 51 different fraternities and sororities. Our Greek community provides its members with opportunities for growth and excellence in academic, leadership, service learning, and social arenas. Fraternity and sorority membership can offer a more well-rounded college experience. At UA, we have four major governing councils for fraternities and sororities.  The Interfraternity Council (IFC) represents 19 fraternities.  The National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) represents our 7 historically African-American fraternities and sororities. The Panhellenic Association (PHC) represents 14 sororities. And the United Sorority and Fraternity Council (USFC) represents 11 diverse fraternities and sororities.  Each council is a vital part of Fraternity and Sorority Programs.

Our fraternity and sorority members are often leaders in various areas of campus involvement. The Greek community has provided a significant outlet for those dedicated to making such commitments. The Greek experience is tremendous for those students who choose to join. A fraternity or sorority will provide life-long friendships and excellent opportunities for personal growth.

The Greek community, believing in the values of full-time professional advising, fully supports Fraternity and Sorority Programs, staffs, and operations.  For more information, please stop by the Fraternity & Sorority Programs office in the Center for Student Involvement & Leadership (room 404 of the New Student Union), call (520) 621-8046 to speak with Fraternity & Sorority Programs Staff, or continue to view our website for specific areas of interest.
